Nothing beats being in Appleby Castle. Beds were comfy and the staff was helpful. Room was a good value. We spent evenings at Tufton Arms Hotel, situated 400 metres from the property.

We recommend it to those visiting Appleby. The family room we had was very clean. Moreover, free Wi Fi was a nice addition.
